| When you get your puppy (at 8 weeks), it will be beginning to use the bathroom on newspaper. For info on house-breaking, click here. Dachshunds can also be litter trained, for more info on this method of house-breaking, click here. The puppies will be wormed (Strongid) every 2 weeks from when they are 2 weeks of age. Puppies will have first shots (DA2PPv) at 6 weeks of age. At 8 weeks of age the puppies have a second set of shots (DA2PPv). The buyer is responsible to get the 3rd booster if bought before 12 weeks. The buyer is responsible to get the puppy a 4th booster at 16 weeks. The puppy should have a rabies shot by the time it is 18 weeks.
